CASTLE HILL RSL AND DISTRICT SUB-BRANCH FLAG CEREMONY
AUSTRALIA DAY 2024
On Friday 26th Jan, Castle Hill and District RSL sub-Branch held their Australia Day Flag Panting ceremonies at Castle Hill Cemetery and Castlebrook Memorial Park. Despite the warm weather, we had a tremendous turn out at Castlebrook and we would lie to thank everyone who came to join us.
We would like to thanks Mr. John Payne, President of the CHRG.Syd, Mrs. Cheryl Hill, our President at the Castle Hill & districts RSL sub-Branch, Castlebrook Memorial Park management and staff, Mr. Alex Hawke MP, Member for Mitchell,
Mr. Mark Hodges - Member for Castle Hill
Mr. Ray Williams, Member for Kellyville,
Dr Peter Gangemi - Mayor of The Hills Shire Council and his fellow councilkors.
We would also like to thank the Members of the Castle Hill & districts RSL sub-Branch who came to volunteer at both locations,
Canon Colin Aiken for leading the service. Flt LT. Dennis Lockwood and Cadets of 336 SQN AAFC for their support as well as
St Johns Ambulance, our Trumpeter. Cindy Hu and North Ryde Pipe Band. Finally, thank you to our VP Commemorations Rees John, for all the hours of work he put into coordinating these two events. A job very well done.
